Summer / Fall / Spring Internships

The Faith & Politics Institute hosts several part-time interns (15-20 hours per week) or full-time (35-40 hours per week) interns each school term. Interns work with Faith & Politics staff members in all areas of the Institute's life, with a focus on the areas of program, communications and development. Interns gain broad experience with the inner workings of a nonprofit organization, as well as interfacing with congressional, corporate, foundation and other offices. Interns are an integral part of the day-to-day operations of the Institute.

Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Writing drafts of letters, event summaries and other documents
  • Researching potential funding sources, program ideas and other subjects
  • Assisting with event logistics
  • Providing on-site assistance at events
  • Participating in staff and planning meetings
  • Data entry and analysis
  • Administrative support

Applicants should be detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic. Interest in the intersection of faith and politics is a plus.
