Mike Mihalke
With over two decades of legislative and political experience, Mike leads Meridian Strategies’ clients with strategic business, advertising, public relations, and grassroots consulting services. Mike has helped numerous companies, trade associations, foreign governments and political organizations navigate the turbulent political and business arena with strategic, tactical and communications expertise.
Mike has worked closely with Members of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate, Governors and elected and appointed leaders at the federal, state and local level. His public affairs experience across a number of industries provides his clients the inside knowledge and understanding required to succeed in today’s ever changing political, media and business environment.
Through years of public affairs experience, Mike has accumulated industry specific expertise in a number of subject areas including pharmaceutical and life sciences, financial services, health care, wireless spectrum and technology, public safety, energy and fuel additives, and gaming licensing and regulation.
Mike’s media expertise has been credited with a number of business and electoral victories at the federal, state and local level. He has supervised and orchestrated campaign media efforts with the development and placement of creative advertising, corporate branding efforts, reputation management, crisis communications and strategic public affairs programs for a wide variety of corporate and political clients.
Prior to his work in the private sector, Mike served as Director of Communications in the U.S. Senate for Senator Rick Santorum. He began his career with Congressman Tom Ridge and served as Press Secretary in the U.S. House of Representatives. He has served as a Board Member of the American Association of Political Consulting, Colony Hill Homeowners Association, the National Presbyterian School and the Hayden Todd Foundation.
Currently, he is President of the Tudor Walk Homeowners Association, a local neighborhood advocacy group in Georgetown’s East Village where Mike lives with his family.
