Olivia Schramkowski is a junior at Duke University who created her own major, Battleground for the Beloved Community: Grassroots Culture and Politics in the American South. Her interests lie in the intersection between faith and politics, and how communities fight for justice.
She is involved extensively with student government, specifically with the community affairs office on campus, and she also has done extensive work on campus to help secure voting rights for college students.
In addition, she is a fellow with the Unum Fund, where she is piloting a project to boost political education at Duke.
