Board Member

Al Thompson joined Intel Corporation in 2020. He serves as the Vice President of U.S. Government Relations where he oversees government affairs and public policy specialists and advances Intel’s policy position with U.S. federal and state government officials related to a wide range of public policy issues. Prior to joining Intel he worked at Raytheon Technologies as the Executive Director of Government Relations. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Global Supply Chain Policy at the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and worked on the House Committee on Homeland Security as a Senior Professional Staff member working for both former Rep. Jim Turner (D-TX) and Ranking Member Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS). He is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.
