Doxey Kamara is a graduate student from Houston, Texas. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Library and Information Sciences at the University of Illinois.
Prior to this, Doxey earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in English from Tulane University of New Orleans. His studies focus on how libraries can use evolving technologies to best serve their communities. After working in accessibility for academic libraries and museums, Doxey now works to support the creation of Open Educational Resources at the University of Illinois.
Through his work, Doxey aims to create a world where educational material is free and available to all.
