Joyce Faria
Summer Intern
Joyce Faria is a rising junior at Florida International University majoring in International Relations. She serves as Director of the Environmental Politics and Legislation Committee within FIU’s Green Campus Initiative, where she leads student engagement around climate advocacy, policy education, and civic action. Joyce recently completed a fellowship with the Center for Religion, Culture, and Democracy (CRCD) where she explored how faith can shape public leadership. She believes that studying law provides the tools to understand one’s rights and drive meaningful change. Passionate about advocacy, Joyce is committed to bridging the gap between policy and people, recognizing that in an interconnected world, the most effective solutions are those rooted in unity and justice.
