Tara is a recognized risk, strategy and compliance expert, helping companies identify and mitigate geopolitical, legal/regulatory, and reputational risks. Ms. Giunta recently retired as Global Co-Chair of the Sustainable Finance Group and Member of the Investigations and White Collar Defense practice of a leading global law firm. Ms. Giunta is also Chair of the Board of Directors of Invest Ahead, a nonpartisan forum of more than 90 institutional investors, state treasurers, corporations, and organizations representing more than $8 trillion in AUM who believe that highly competent and well-composed boards are essential to corporate performance and American competitiveness. Ms. Giunta holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a law degree from Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America. She lives in Maryland with her husband and is the proud mother of two daughters, a son and a daughter-in-law.
