FPI President & Chief Executive Officer

The President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FPI reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for furthering the mission of the Institute. This exciting role is responsible for achieving the strategic goals as established by the Board of Directors and successful implementation of programs and activities to achieve those goals.

The new leader will ensure the effective development and utilization of resources and will direct the external activities to promote and maintain strong and positive external relations with all the Institute’s constituencies including and of critical importance, the United States Congress and its individual members and sponsors.

Program Coordinator: John Lewis Scholars & Fellows Program and Institute Programs

The Faith & Politics Institute (FPI) seeks a Program Coordinator to provide support to all the programs of The Faith & Politics Institute. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for administrative, general accounting, and external affairs functions. The Program Coordinator reports to both the President and the Director of Educational Programs.

This exempt level position requires a hard-working, mission-driven, highly collaborative work style with a positive team-first attitude. Demonstrating an ability to handle competing priorities in a growing organization, to effectively leverage resources, meet multiple deadlines and balance numerous projects for the good of the organization is a priority. Equal parts integrity, compassion, patience, and comity are necessary to address the sometimes unpredictable and at times deeply divided environment on Capitol Hill in a professional, poised, positive and productive manner.
