JRL Program Bio: Parker Watts is a senior at Barnard College from Richmond, Virginia. At Barnard, Parker studies Political Science and History, focusing on the American South. In her studies Parker is interested in union political power, food justice and eco-history, and the histories of radical Southern politics. Outside of her studies Parker serves as a Speaking Fellow in the Barnard Speaking and Writing Center and as Vice President of Policy in the Student Government Association, helping students to find and use their voices in all capacities.
