JRL Program Bio: Amar Shah is the inaugural Hindu Chaplain at Northwestern University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Policy at the University of Chicago. He focuses on public engagement as a graduate analyst at the City of Chicago’s Office of Budget and Management, and as a fellow on the Council of Religious Leaders of Metropolitan Chicago. Prior to Chicago, his experiences included management consulting, political campaigns, and formal training as a Vedantic monk.
