JRL Program Bio: Baxter “Bax” Yarbrough was raised in Morrilton, Arkansas and has lived in Orlando, FL; Arlington, VA; Lexington, KY; and Louisville, KY. As an AmeriCorps volunteer, Bax received a Master’s in Teaching from Spalding University while serving as a public school teacher. He completed his Bachelor’s in Economics and Political Science from the University of Arkansas and graduated from Morrilton HS. Bax belongs to the Presbyterian Church (USA) and loves his family, his friends, and college.
