JRL Program Bio: Hamsa is currently a fellow with Yale University’s Environmental Fellows Program, where she is working with Resources for the Future in Washington, D.C. to understand the connections between government conservation programs and environmental justice. She is passionate about using agriculture and climate science to development economically and socially just policy that will advance American food systems. Hamsa earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut and a M.S. in Agriculture, Food and Environment from Tufts University.
