JRL Program Bio: Kimberly Collins is a senior at Brown University studying Public Policy and Africana Studies. At Brown, Kimberly is a Swearer Center Social Innovation Fellow and a co-founder of Brown Votes, a student-led voting organization. Outside of Brown, Kimberly is the co-founder of the podcast Heart to Heart: The Lived Experiences of Two Young Black Women. Last fall, Kimberly worked as an intern for the NAACP Legal Defense Fund’s Thurgood Marshall Institute.
