JRL Program Bio: A native of Tunica, MS, Arielle Hudson is committed to continuing Mississippi’s legacy
of civil rights activism by advancing racial equity and working to eradicate the continual discrimination committed against historically oppressed groups. Arielle is currently a Rhodes Scholar in residence at the University of Oxford in Oxford, UK, where she studies law. After the completion of her academic studies, Arielle hopes to return to the South to practice civil rights law. She is particularly interested in voting and education rights in the deep South.
