JRL Program Bio: Darryl Alan Peal, is Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Northern Kentucky University. He has served in two presidential cabinet positions at universities, CEO of two non-profit organizations and deputy director of a state government division. He earned his Master of Social Sciences from Ohio University and two BA Degrees in Journalism and Black World Studies from Ohio Wesleyan University. Peal is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Social Justice at Payne Theological Seminary. He is a native of Springfield, Ohio, member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, 100 Black Men of America and Greater St. John AME Zion Church.
