JRL Program Bio: Donovan Bonner is an Associate General Counsel at Nike. He counsels the business on marketing and advertising, entertainment and production, and consumer digital products and experiences. Prior to Nike, Donovan worked at various private law firms where he represented employers in employment advice and litigation, serving private and public entities, including higher education institutions. In those roles he worked on a wide range of employment issues and litigation, including trade secrets, wrongful termination, discrimination, policy review, workplace investigations, and Title IX. Donovan is from the San Francisco Bay Area and earned his B.S. at Menlo College, and his J.D. at the University of Oregon School of Law.
